My article on ISIS or the Islamic State and the origins of its ideology has been published by Informed Comment. This website is run by renown University of Michigan professor, Juan Cole. It’s a great resource that provides scholarly commentary on current events and news. I am excited about my article joining the august collection at Informed Comment. The History News Network has published my article on the so-called Islamic Caliphate in Iraq set up by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria alternatively known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
