The United Afghan Club of UCLA is throwing their annual Rebuilding Afghanistan Banquet tonight. Dedicated to helping fund humanitarian projects aimed at rebuilding the infrastructure of Afghanistan and aiding the most vulnerable in society, the UAC works closely with non-profit charitable organizations to help raise money for those in need. Their past endeavors have included the building of wells, the funding of schools, and other noble acts.
Tonight’s event will include a wonderful cultural experience that will highlight Afghanistan’s rich culture through food, music, and fashion. There will also be a raffle.
The event is open to the public and free for everyone to attend; donations are appreciated and will go towards a worthy cause as all proceeds go to charity.
The event will take place at UCLA at Ackerman Hall’s Grand Ballroom with musical guest, Khalil Ragheb. The doors open at 5:30pm.
For further information contact the UAC.
I wish their endeavor success and hope others will join them in making an impact in our world.
